The NJIT Student Chapter of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is proud to host the 2022 AIChE Mid-Atlantic Regional Student Conference, held in person during April 8-9th, 2022 on our campus.  Firstly, we are writing to invite you to the mini Career Fair that will take place on 9:00AM - 12:00PM on April 9th.  This is a rare opportunity for you to interview some of the best and most motivated undergraduates from the AIChE’s Mid-Atlantic region.  Secondly, we are asking for your support in hosting this event, which as you will see provides great value to all the attending students and to the NJIT/Newark/NJ community.

AIChE's Regional Student Conference is an annual event that attracts the finest and brightest engineering students from colleges and universities across the Mid-Atlantic region. This event aims to provide an opportunity for serious-minded undergraduates to come together to share their technical knowledge, compete with their teams, present research via poster sessions, and network with industry professionals and company representatives. The meeting highlights several exciting competitions for students:  Chem-E-Car, ChemE Jeopardy, Student Technical Presentation, and Research Poster. Students from each visiting university will compete here at the Regional level, and the winners of each event will then travel to the National Meeting in the fall to face the champions from the AIChE's 14 other (including international) regions.  Additionally, we will be providing an exceptionally beneficial and exciting opportunity for both students and companies with the Career Fair. Here, we will invite some of the best students from some 35 member universities of the AIChE Mid-Atlantic region to network with your representatives, to show their skills and value to employers in potentially fulfilling internship, Co-op, and fulltime positions at your company.

Over a hundred of the top students from the best schools across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Virginia, and Washington DC are expected to attend this conference.  We will provide food, social mixers, career development workshops, prizes, t-shirts, masks, negotiated hotel rates, event supplies, chemical disposal, media and other staff support, and parking for the visiting students and attendees.  But to help us host the event, we ask you to consider our sponsorship tiers (see page 8). As a sponsor of the event, your company would receive a unique opportunity to reach a talent-filled group of professionally rigorous students from across the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, due to the potentially smaller size of our Career Fair, you would be able to have a more relaxed and casual interaction with the students compared to the typical career fairs. However, for this event to be a success for us and you, we need your involvement.  To that end, we have prepared several involvement opportunities under different sponsorship tiers (please see the tabs below) based on donation amount, so that your company can represent itself in a variety of ways at this year’s regional conference.
